You have seen them on television; now visit the places themselves. I’m talking of those idyllic villages where Barnaby is called in to solve a string of murders. The counties of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire are home to many of the locations used.
I can plan a half or full-day itinerary visiting many of these villages, with a coffee or lunch stop in one of the three towns that are used to portray Causton. I will show you many of the buildings used for filming, and tell you other stories about the places we pass through.
These tours are ideal as a coach trip, for your tour programme if you are visiting the area or as a day out for your social group. Die-hard Midsomer Murders fans love being there for real, and people who have never seen the programme also enjoy the beautiful Chiltern countryside, villages and towns that we travel through.
