Autumn colour in the Chilterns

This post first appeared in 2016.

I love this time of year.  Especially in the Chiltern Hills.

I’m lucky enough to live on the door step of the Chilterns and to be able to take a walk in the area whenever I get the chance.  I’ve been watching the Autumn colours develop over the last few weeks and with the spell of good weather that we have been having it is going to be a good time to explore this wonderful area this Autumn.

Who needs to travel to New England when in the Chilterns we have magnificent beech woods with acres of colour and miles of paths from which to appreciate them?  On a fine day, it is almost impossible not to take some lovely pictures.  On this page are a couple of my attempts.

Why not arrange to join me on a walk in the Chilterns and discover the colour for yourself.
