Guiding with the Covid-19 restrictions – how does the “rule of six” work?

Logo

We are all now aware of the Government’s new “rule of six” to be introduced in England from Monday 14th September.  This applies to groups meeting socially, but how does it apply to Tour Guides such as ourselves leading groups?

Simply, if we have safety guidelines in place, and have done a risk assessment, we are still allowed to guide up to 30 people at a time as long as each group is no more than six people and each group of six is socially distanced.

Here at Tours 2 order we have done that risk assessment and we have Visit England’s “We’re Good to Go” certificate to confirm that.  But we’re also concentrating on welcoming smaller groups, so that we can give you a much more personal experience.  That shows that we have your health as our number one priority.  If you have five friends, why not get in touch and we look forward to welcoming you on tours.

Our best tours are those outside, and we have a fabulous selection of those.  Have a look at our Town Tours  and Walking Tours and if something takes your fancy, please get in touch.  We’d love to show you around – safely.
