Looking beyond lockdown

We’ve recently had some tentative dates from the Prime Minister about being able to come out of lockdown and meet in larger groups.  This must be good news.  It starts to give us a chance to go and visit places again.

Naturally everyone is being very cautious, including decisions about when we Tour Guides will be able to do our jobs again.  It seems clear, though, that from 29th March we should be able to meet in groups of up to six people from two households.  A guide and a family of up to five for example?  Perfect.

We anticipate that as restrictions ease there will be a lot of pent-up demand for tours.  Many people will not wish to, or be able to, fly off abroad.  So, this will be the year of the “staycation”; exploring close to home.  But instead of going back to the places you already know, why not explore the places you don’t know, and book a guide to show you around.

At Tours 2 order, like all responsible guides, we’re committed to Visit England’s “We’re Good to Go” scheme, giving you assurance that we take your safety seriously.

Look at all the options on my website here, and please get in touch.  We realise bookings might be provisional, but it gives us all something to look forward to doesn’t it.
