The first day of spring … and another online talk

Hooray, its officially spring, as the equinox gives us more daytime hours than night-time hours.

And certainly there are spring flowers aplenty, the birds are very active, the crops and trees are starting to show buds and the sheep are back out in the fields.  There’s a lot of optimism as well that we Blue Badge guides will be able to be out guiding visitors before too long.

In the meantime, I’m still doing my online talks using zoom.  Tomorrow afternoon (5pm, 21st March) I’ll be doing “Reading Abbey 900” telling the story of Reading and its abbey in this, its 900th year.  Why not tune in, find out what all the excitement is about, and also put a date in your diary to come a visit later in the year.

Here is the booking link for this and other talks.
