What is the story?

Every day there will be many anniversaries.  We all have a birthday after all.  On some days we will be commemorating major events; others will just happen to be the anniversary of something more mundane (apart from your birthday of course).

This talk is a continuation of my annual series of “anniversaries” talks, which has been going since 2014.

We’ve now reached 2021, so these are the stories behind an eclectic selection of historical events that took place in the years ending in “21” – 1921, 1821, 1721 etc.
